What I did

The deck was one of the larger spaces, so outdoor dining and conversation zones turned it into square footage guests pay for. The living room is narrow, so I built gathering zones that fit all twelve while still giving people somewhere to sit apart. The basement is smaller than most in this area, so instead of a full game room it became a poker room, the place a group breaks away to. I put a Murphy bed in the basement bedroom so the floor frees up for a ping pong table when it's up.
